This product performed as advertised (about 30 days now). Because of the climate where I live, it is on daily. I'm not sure the temperature gauge for auto on/off is exactly what the digital read says, but after about 3 days of monitoring it and adjusting it a couple of degrees this way or that way, it does automatically turn on the fan when you need it and don't need it. Bottom line: I am perfectly content with this fan and in a year or two will buy another one exactly like it to replace it.
